Right of Withdrawal

1. Your right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods. Where your order is delivered in several shipments, the period runs from the day you acquire possession of the last item.

To exercise the right of withdrawal you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement. You may use the on-site withdrawal function below, the model withdrawal form in Section 4, or any other clear declaration (for example by email or letter). To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient that you send your communication before the withdrawal period expires.

2. How to withdraw online (electronic withdrawal function)

You can withdraw electronically at any time during the withdrawal period using the withdrawal function below. It is available from every page of our site via the “Withdraw from contract” (“Vertrag widerrufen”) link, without the need to log in. It works in two steps:

  1. Initiate — select “Vertrag widerrufen” (“Withdraw from contract”) and provide your name, your order number, and the email address at which we should confirm receipt.
  2. Confirm — submit your declaration using the confirmation button labelled “Widerruf bestätigen” (“Confirm withdrawal”).

After you submit, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email without undue delay, stating the content of your declaration and the date and time it was submitted. This acknowledgement confirms receipt only; it does not by itself decide whether your withdrawal is legally effective.

3. Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the original delivery charges (except for any supplementary costs arising from your choosing a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer).

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, and you will not incur any fees as a result. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever is the earliest.

Returning the goods. You must send back the goods, or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before that 14-day period expires.

Return shipping cost. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

Diminished value. You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. In other words, you may inspect and examine the goods as you would in a shop; if the goods are handled or used beyond that (for example written in, marked, or otherwise used), we may deduct a corresponding amount from your reimbursement.

5. Legal guarantee (separate from withdrawal)

Independently of the right of withdrawal above, consumers in the EU benefit from a statutory legal guarantee of conformity. If an item is defective or not as described, you are entitled to remedy under that guarantee regardless of whether the withdrawal period has passed. Return costs for confirmed defective items are not charged to you.
